Kentucky doctor left baby granddaughter in hot car for 8 hours to die after forgetting to drop her off at daycare

It was a nightmare come true for parents when they received a call that their child was no more, thanks to a horrifying mistake made by a grandparent.

A 10-month-old baby girl reportedly passed away after being left for hours inside the back of her grandma's blistering-hot car outside a medical clinic where she worked.

Little Scottie Gwyn Crowell was found still strapped in the backseat of the car by her grandma, Dr. Stacey Fazenbaker, at Owensboro Health Multicare in Madisonville, Kentucky. This was for nearly eight hours after she was supposed to drop the child off at a daycare, the cops shared.

Temperatures in the vehicle ended up hitting 95 degrees that same day and even peaked at 115 degrees inside the car.

The parents made the realization when the child's dad went to pick up his daughter from daycare. This is when he was told that she never came in that day.
