Brian Hickerson has issued a statement through his attorney after the death of Hayden Panettiere.
Many are slamming him for the cold-hearted statement he shared after the star's sudden passing at an Airbnb in South Carolina.
Attorney Sloan Ellis noted that Panettiere's death remains under investigation and it's important to enable that investigation to proceed, while highlighting that police confirmed that no signs of foul play arose.
Panettiere was found unconscious inside a living room chair by Hickerson's brother, Zach. She was subsequently declared dead from a suspected overdose. Speaking to the press, he mentioned how she regularly took a bag of meds. This was slammed by the late star's mother, who referred to him as a toxic person.
