A fatal boat crash in Barnegat Bay, New Jersey, has resulted in the death of two young siblings.
This includes a nine-year-old girl and her seven-year-old brother.
Sources from local media outlets shared more about how the incident arose after a family dinner at MJ's Restaurant in Bayville. The kids asked to stay with their grandparents, and they boarded their grandad's 30-foot Tidewater 280 vessel around 9 pm.
Meanwhile, their parents were on a separate boat. The grandad ended up striking a wooden channel marker, sending both kids into the water. Despite wearing life jackets, they were both found face down.
