A woman is sharing more about how a simple move in with her lover was something that turned out worse than what she could have ever imagined.
Sabrina Castaldi says that months later, she started to suffer from dizziness and other unexpected health issues that she could never figure out. After investigating her residence, she found black mould hidden behind a bathroom mirror caused by a water leak.
Once the mould was removed, her symptoms started to get better again. Now, she's sharing her experience to better guide others to pay more attention to hidden water damage and mould inside their homes.
Castaldi, who grew up in New Jersey, said her health problems started long before she discovered the matter. As a child, she was diagnosed with synovitis, which is an inflammation that impacts the joints, with serious pain in her hips, knees, and legs that often left her inside the hospital or on bed rest.
As she got older, her symptoms got worse and lasted longer.
