Tommaso Cioni, who is the brother-in-law of Savannah Guthrie, was the last person known to have seen her mother, Nancy, alive.
Authorities confirmed that he dropped her off at her residence in Tucson, Arizona, between 9:45 and 9:50 pm on January 31, waited for her to go inside, and when the garage door closed, he left. The sheriff's department made it clear that he waited for her to enter safely before leaving.
Due to that, Cioni's name was briefly seen appearing as a possible suspect or person of interest. But during a recent press conference, it was shocking to see the reply of the Sheriff, who made it very clear that they are not leaving out anyone when it comes to suspicion.
Rumors shared how the authorities might have seized a vehicle linked to him. But the law enforcement agencies have denied those claims.
They said investigations are taking place and no one will be spared, but still refused to comment on whether there was any known suspect so far. Cioni is yet to be charged with any crime, and there's no proof that he is linked to the sudden disappearance of Nancy.
