Shocking reports are coming in from Northhampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where the police were seen discovering three people dead inside a home after responding to a well-being check on Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to a single-family home in Churchville during the afternoon hours when a family member became so concerned about not hearing from the occupants for a few days.
Upon their arrival, they ended up encountering a man inside the residence who was armed with a knife, and he prompted a longstanding standoff with the cops and specialized tactical units.
During the long standoff, officers worked hard to try to diffuse the situation in bitter winter conditions before a SWAT team ended up arriving and breaching the home and taking the suspect into custody, without any more loss of life.
Inside the residence, cops found three deceased people. Further investigation revealed how the suspect stabbed his elderly parents and his sister before this standoff arose.
