A young girl from New Jersey has recently suffered from a skull fracture and is now battling for her life after a rock was thrown through the window of her school bus while she happened to be traveling on the New Jersey Turnpike.
The incident arose during the early afternoon hours as the bus happened to be returning from a long field trip. This object hit the child in the head and shattered the side of the window, leaving her with serious injuries.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital and treated for her serious injuries, as per officials. Thankfully, she's expected to survive.
Cops were seen searching for the person responsible for this incident, and they linked the whole tragedy to a 40-year-old individual from Palisades Park. Officers ended up arresting him at a makeshift campsite inside Bergen County after rolling out an investigation by state and local law enforcement.
He now faces serious multiple charges linked to aggravated assault, child welfare endangerment, and criminal mischief.
