US President Donald Trump shared on Thursday that the US military had hit ISIS targets in Nigeria, targeting Christians with several deadly airstrikes.
Trump mentioned that as the direction of the US Commander in Chief, he was proud to share the news that the US managed to carry out successful and powerful deadly strikes against terrorists in the Northwest Nigerian region.
These individuals have been targeting and viciously killing innocent Christians, he continued, adding that the levels had reached dangerous highs.
"I have mentioned before that if they don't stop slaughtering Christians, that I would have to take matters into my hands,"- he added.
Trump shared how, under his leadership, he would never allow radical Islamic terrorism to prevail or prosper.
Trump wished the military well and also wished Merry Christmas to all, including the dead terrorists, of which there would be many more if they continue slaughtering Christians.
The Pentagon coordinated with the government of Nigeria ahead of the strikes, the President mentioned.
'The Department of War worked with the government of Nigeria to carry out these strikes,' he concluded.
