Actress Cynthia Erivo is all set to receive the honor of the Derek Malcolm Award for Innovation at the 46th London Critics' Circle Film Awards' star-studded ceremony on 1st February 2026.
The Wicked star will be the third recipient, following in the footsteps of fellow stars Colman Domingo, who in 2024, and Zoe Saldana in 2025.
Cynthia's latest gong comes after she and her co-star Anna Grande made award show history as the first two actors from the same movie to be consecutively given the accolade.
Speaking about the innovation award, the star has shared how she's so deeply honored.
'To be recognized in this capacity by the London Film Critics' Circle, a group that I highly admire and one that has championed me throughout my career,'- she added.
The star also mentioned how it's been an incredible year for film and having the chance to bring Elphaba, the embodiment of a trailblazer, to the screen as one of the greatest privileges.
