Influencer Claims He’s Just Buying Groceries, But Walmart Hits Him With Lifetime Ban: “Time To Boycott Them”

A lifetime ban was issued by Walmart to a 40-year-old comedian and content creator, Damon Darling, following an incident at a local store on Sunday.

While Darling claims he was merely trying to pay for strangers' groceries, Walmart shared that this decision was taken based on a history of repeated policy violations involving disruptive behavior.

Videos from the past show Darling using stores as backdrops for pranks, which entailed staging falls, throwing merchandise, and pouring milk on himself. The ban also applied to Walmart's subsidiary, Sam's Club. Moreover, a video from July showed local law enforcement informing Darling that he had to leave a Sam's Club parking lot, reminding him that private businesses reserve the right to deny entry.

Despite the influencer urging his audience not to boycott the retail chain and stating that he plans to respect the rules without further issues, the matter triggered major backlash online.
