Katy Perry Slams White House for Using Her Song ‘Firework’ in Video Showing Military Strikes

Katy Perry is the latest celeb whose music has been taken by the White House for a shocking video that showed military strikes.

The singer was not happy about the news and made it clear through her public posts how such behavior was not only unethical but wrong for so many reasons.

Voicing her extreme frustration on this matter, Perry blasted the White House after hearing her 2010 hit track Firework in a post on TikTok depicting footage of military strikes. The video was posted to the official White House TikTok account on Thursday and emphasized the lyrics, boom, boom, boom to clips of bomb explosions with the caption, 'Iran has been warned!'

"I am so deeply appalled and angry to witness this. It's unacceptable for the account to use my music as a backing for video footage of military strikes!'- she continued. She also made it clear how she never approved this and was not asked at all, while absolutely not condoning it.
