Grandma killed on way to identify her son’s body in ‘unreal’ double tragedy: Family ‘ripped apart’

A family was reportedly left so devastated after a 70-year-old grandmother was killed in a car crash.

The incident arose while she was traveling to go and identify the remains of her 46-year-old son.

The very heartbreaking chain of events unfolded when her son, a father of three named Andrew Tinsley, unexpectedly passed away in an incident involving the River Dee. Shortly after getting the painful news, his mother, Carol Tinsley, embarked on a journey towards Wrexham Maelor Hospital to formally identify her son's remains.

Tragically, she never reached her final destination as she was killed during her journey. Her car was involved in a fatal collision incident that is currently under investigation. Within a span of just six hours, the family endured the catastrophic loss of both Andrew and Carol.
