Weddings are certainly one of the most important times of our lives.
And it makes sense why having all your loved ones, family, and friends by your side on your big day means so much. But one woman is sharing her shock when she found something in her wedding pictures that left goosebumps across her body.
43-year-old social worker Mia Chard brought her late dad's film camera to her May 2026 wedding as a tribute to his memory after his death in 2018. Carrying his camera to major life events was one of the key ways she kept a piece of him so close.
When the film was developed, Chard was shocked to find that the roll was double-exposed. Layered directly below her wedding images were pictures from her brother's graduation in 1999.
This decades-old roll of film that had mysteriously been reloaded into the camera was appalling for obvious reasons. While they were worried that both sets of memories were ruined, Chard was so moved when she saw an image of herself walking down the aisle. In the frame, she appeared exactly in the center between pictures of her parents from the past. This photograph instantly brought back a comforting conversation she had with her dad before his death.
