At Least 33 People Hospitalized After Bus Crashes into Building, Causing Chain Reaction That Looked Like ‘War Scene’

A major mass casualty incident has taken place where a bus reportedly crashed into a building.

The incident reportedly took place in the form of a collision where some bystanders recall witnessing the horror and the haunting and deafening sound that arose, sounding like a bomb blast.

The accident took place on Wednesday and has now been called out as a major mass casualty incident taking place in Pikesville, Maryland. This is where the Maryland Transit Administration bus crashed into a building at the 1500 block of Reisterstown Road.

The accident triggered a major chaotic chain reaction involving a large number of civilian vehicles, leaving one car rolled over and pulling down power lines.

At least 33 people were said to be injured and transported to area hospitals, with at least one person said to be in critical condition. More than 100 first responders were seen arriving at the scene.

Emergency crews had to extricate one individual trapped inside the MTA bus and another trapped inside a civilian car.
