Rapper who sued Lyft for refusing ride over weight Buys Personal Car and Hires a Chauffer

Detroit rapper Dajua Blanding, who usually performs under the name Dank Demoss, has filed a legal case against popular car rental firm Lyft after one of their own drivers refused to take the rapper on as a passenger.

The driver named John Doe claimed that she was too big for his ride, leaving her humiliated and without any transport on the streets. Therefore, her lawsuit was filed in the County Circuit Court in Michigan for this reason.

The legal case stems from the fact that when Blanding ordered a ride to attend a football watch party at her cousin's home, she was appalled to see the level of discrimination against her by the driver. After arriving, the driver went as far as to lock the doors and argued that she was just too big to fit inside the back seat. What was even more appalling was how he claimed that his vehicle's tires were not heavy-duty enough to accommodate such a big weight as hers.

Today, she's not only won that case but also managed to purchase her own personal van and a chauffeur who takes her to all the places of her desire. The rapper vowed to never use Lyft again and urged others to do the same.
