Tragic reports are speaking about a 10-year-old girl in China who was left seriously injured in a horrifying attack by a pair of lions at the zoo.
According to reports from local media outlets, the girl was making attempts to feed the lions at Shantou Zhongshan Park Zoo in Guangdong when a lion ended up grabbing her leg through the cage bars, and two of them then pounced on her.
The girl was allowed into the designated feeding region by the zookeeper, despite being underage, as per local media outlets.
In the footage attained from the attack, the girl appeared to be standing close to the lion's cage while offering the animals some food. A lioness is then seen thrusting her paw through the cage bars and grabbing the girl by her pants, dragging her to the ground.
The girl is heard screaming as the zookeeper grabs her and tries to break her free from the grip of the lion, while another one arrives and reaches out through the cage bars and makes an effort to try and grab her.
