The mother shared on the Reddit platform how the brutal text exchange between her as a single mom simply requested childcare assistance from the baby's dad. But she was only to be completely ghosted and then harshly rejected.
The matter unfolded across several days of one-sided texts before the dad rolled out a highly controversial response. The mother then texted the dad asking if he could watch their child for a few hours so she could study, but he didn't reply.
The next day, she followed up and lowered her request to just one hour of childcare, and he kept on ignoring her. On the third day, she sent a final message calling him out for failing to reply or show up for his own child. He viewed the message but chose silence.
A day after the final blow, the dad finally replied. He mentioned how he never wished to have this child in the first place. He offered money for the abortion, but she argued; hence, it was against his wishes to bring the child into this world. Now, he's asked her to stop contacting him entirely.
