Former US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, was recently seen appearing before the Republican led US House Oversight Committee this week to answer some queries linked to Epstein as part of a bigger probe into the latter's network and government responses.

In her opening statements, she strongly slammed the fact that she knew anything about him and his private island. She also added that there was nothing that she saw that would indicate that he was involved in criminal activities, adding that she never recalled that she met him.

Instead of defending her husband, Bill Clinton, who was scheduled to testify the next day, she made use of this moment to slam lawmakers for focusing on her while not compelling President Donald Trump to testify.
She even argued about how his name appeared so frequently in the released Epstein Files. Clinton called the tactics of the committee a political distraction and urged that Trump be asked directly about his own links under oath.
