Why Texas dad who shot daughter dead after argument over Trump won’t face charges

The Texas father who shot his daughter dead during a major argument related to Donald Trump will not be facing any charges, a legal expert has confirmed.

The incident took place recently in Prosper, Texas, where the 23-year-old British woman named Lucy Harrison was shot and killed by her own dad, Kris Harrison.

The matter arose after a heated argument that involved differing views about the former US President and other topics while she was visiting from the UK with her lover.

The duo had a tense exchange that same morning, and later that day, Kris took Lucy into the bedroom where he reportedly was seen handling a Glock 9mm pistol.

Seconds later, a shot rang out, and Lucy was found with a fatal chest wound.

Her dad claimed this weapon discharged accidentally while showing it to her. He even admitted to having consumed alcohol earlier in the same day and has a history of alcohol struggles. Moreover, the grand jury in Texas has declined to indict him on any kind of criminal charges, meaning he won't face prosecution in the US for her death.
