The horrifying death of an Olive Garden cook who threw himself into the restaurant's deep fryer in an apparent suicide was so terrifying that even the emergency dispatcher broadcasting the service call appeared shaken.
A male victim went headfirst into the fryers, the male voice mentioned with a pause over the Lycoming County Fire and EMS radio on January 30. This is just moments after calls began coming in.
"I don't have many details, a lot of people are just screaming, some kind of a burn victim"- another operator shared in audio that was reviewed by The Post.
The victim, whose identity is yet to be shared, was said to have stripped down first before ending his life.
He just thrust his face into the giant pot of hot oil as terrified coworkers desperately tried to prevent him, as per the authorities.
