The White House was seen hitting back after John Mellencamp took direct shots at President Donald Trump's Gulf of America.
Mellencamp paused his Saturday night show in Holmdel, N.J., to mock Trump's executive order to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.
On Monday, a White House rep shared in a statement how nobody in their right mind cares about what out-of-touch, woke Hollywood celebs have to say. As part of his Dancing Words, he was seen singing the first few verses of his hit track Pink Houses before addressing the crowd directly.
"Well, there are people and more people. What do they know? Go to work in some high rise and vacation down at the Gulf of Mexico!"- the rock icon sang before he added, "Wait a minute!"
