Ex-US President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton to testify in Epstein probe

Former US President Bill Clinton and former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have both agreed to testify before the Republican controlled House Oversight Committee as part of the investigation into convicted s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The move comes after months of resisting subpoenas and on the eve of their planned congressional vote that was designed to hold them contemp for not appearing.

The committee chair shared how contempt charges against them both should be in place because they missed their previous deposition deadlines and had also resisted appearing under oath without any kind of negotiations.

At the 11th hour, the Clintons' legal team offered to schedule depositions on dates acceptable to both sides.

Bill had proposed before a four hour transcribed interview and Hillary suggested submitting a sworn declaration. However, Comer rejected those conditions, insisting on full, sworn depositions.
