Hayden Panettiere's neighbor has broken her silence after the star's death.
The star passed away on Sunday at the age of 36 inside an Airbnb rental at Judson Mill Lofts in Greenville, South Carolina.
Emergency personnel responded to a 911 call at 1:51 pm attempting CPR and advanced cardiac life support, but she was pronounced deceased at 2:32 pm. Authorities noted no signs of foul play, though 911 audio mentioned a possible overdose.
A resident at Judson Mill Lofts spoke to media outlets; they had not seen her previously and assumed she rarely left the apartment. The neighbor witnessed police present from noon to 8 pm before the coroner arrived, alongside two men sitting outside who appeared in shock.
The star reportedly flew to South Carolina the previous day to meet her on-and-off lover, Brian Hickerson, and her brother.
