A high school student opened fire at a junior high school in southern Philippines this morning.
The devastating attack resulted in two immediate deaths, including the shooter, and left two others injured.

Sources from local media outlets shared more about how the student managed to sneak a high-powered firearm and 0.45 caliber pistol inside the school premises. The exact location was identified as Zamboanga City, where the Mayor reported that the shooter wore a body camera, livestreaming the incident on Facebook.

The shooter first fired at the teacher sitting at a table but missed. Moving to another room, he fatally shot another student and injured two others before taking his own life.
The tragedy arose two months after another school shooting in the nation's central region, which left three students dead and 20 wounded.
