Prosecutors outlined a moment-by-moment account that displayed active text exchanges between Rivas Hernandez and D4vd on the night she passed away.
Her phone went permanently silent after arriving at his residence. Court records presented text messages from January that discussed a pregnancy and subsequent abortion when the victim was 13. Testimony also featured messages revealing previous conflict and threats exchanged between them.
Prosecutors alleged that D4vd fatally stabbed and dismembered the teen. He's now pleaded not guilty to all charges, including first-degree murder. The defense side is also now taking a new turn as the texts also showed threats by the 13-year-old, where she vowed to kill him.
