President Trump is not a happy camper after the recent transfer of wildfire smoke from Canada.
The US President rolled out a post on Truth Social yesterday, slamming Canada for not doing enough to control its growing wildfires.
In retaliation, Trump threatened to impose higher tariffs on Canada, accusing the country's government of willful negligence in managing its forests and causing serious smoke pollution across the country.

In the post, Trump shared more about how Canada had failed to engage in basic forest management and debris removal, giving rise to an unnecessary invasion of toxic smoke across different American cities.

Trump stated that the financial impact of this wildfire on the US economy must be added directly to the tariffs Canada is currently paying. Trump shared plans to personally contact the country's Prime Minister, Mark Carney, and share his thoughts while demanding they take accountability for the ongoing crisis.
