Americans Warned To Take Down their US flags or face $100 fines As July 4 Weekend Celebrations Approach

The Fourth of July weekend celebrations are quickly approaching us, and that means patriotism amongst Americans is at an all-time high.

From party snacks to fireworks, not to mention American flags, too, celebrations are in full swing to celebrate the nation's 250th birthday. But a shocking new order for California residents is leaving citizens stunned.

A tense neighborhood row arose in San Marcos, California, where the Ambience Owners' Association ordered residents to get rid of American flags from front-facing areas or face $100 fines just days before the Fourth of July celebrations ensued.

The major issue had to do with the HOA rolling out notices limiting the Stars and Stripes and therefore exclusively limiting the use of backyards to display the flag. The board was seen arguing about how allowing flags on common property opens the door for others to express major political or affiliative views, which could degrade the entire area.

Many are refusing to comply, and now that means they could be facing up to $100 fines as the date quickly approaches. The matter soon transformed into a legal battle where residents refused to comply with the ban and demanded justice.
