A grim final photo was shared recently that showed five friends fishing and smiling, moments before they all ended up drowning in Ohio.
The final picture was described as haunting as their lives flipped in seconds.
The image was caught by a passing boater and has now emerged, believed to be the last image of the group alive. A group comprising five adults and two kids gathered near a dangerous stretch of the Scioto River in Powell, Ohio.
As per the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, one adult started struggling in the current. The remaining four successively jumped into the water to carry out a rescue operation. But that is what ended up in a tragedy, causing them all to lose their lives as they were swept away by high, fast-moving waters and drowned.
