Italy’s Meloni rips Trump after he claimed she ‘begged’ for a photo at G7 as top diplomat cancels US trip

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was not a happy camper recently when President Trump outlined her as someone who could be seen begging for a photo with him at the recently held G7 Summit in France.

The news left the top diplomat fuming and forced her to slam the allegations as a completely false and fabricated story made up by the US President, calling him a liar for such behavior. She also questioned why he would do something like that and go public with his lies when she considers him and his country as a top ally of Italy.

She also chose to cancel her upcoming foreign trip to the US for this reason and even gave a very powerful statement to Trump in the end, where she mentioned: 'Neither me nor Italy ever beg!'

The White House has yet to come out with a statement or a reply to her very bold remarks.
