President Trump didn't quite receive the welcome that he might have been anticipating.
The POTUS was met with loud, cascading boos from thousands of basketball fans at Madison Square Garden on Monday night when he appeared on the Jumbotron during Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

The crowd was seen erupting in jeers as Broadway star Avery Wilson performed the national anthem. The broadcast camera soon panned towards the President saluting the flag from an executive suite. Despite the very overwhelming Bronx cheer, Trump smiled, smirked, and continued to salute throughout the duration of the anthem, pretending like it didn't happen.

The heavy boos soon transformed into roaring cheers as the Jumbotron shifted focus away from the president and panned to New York Knicks star point guard Jalen Brunson on the court. Trump's attendance made history as he was the first sitting U.S. president to attend an NBA finals game in person.
