The remains of a missing Republican Senate candidate were found recently inside a truck in a rural location in Oklahoma, as per reports from the authorities.
Barry Christian was a 54-year-old candidate for District 38 in western Oklahoma and was found dead on Thursday after her myteriously vanished two days back.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation confirmed to the outlet that Christian's 2024 charcoal gray Ram truck was found just off Highway 30, south of Erick, with a body inside.
The truck was found by a ravine near the Sandy Sanders Wildlife Management Area. Because of where the vehicle had been located, officials are unable to remove his remains, delaying identification as per the outlet.
A giant campaign sign for Christian was pictured eerily tossed onto the prairie as authorities scoured the entire area. The conditions surrounding his death are yet to be clear as investigations into this matter continue.
