Shocking footage was shared yesterday from the White House Correspondents' dinner shooting, where US Vice President was seen being evacuated before the President.
The incident raised plenty of eyebrows across the board, and many couldn't help but wonder what was going on. Now, the president, as well as experts, are weighing in on the matter and why that was done.

At his 60 Minutes interview with CBS News anchor Norah O'Donnell yesterday, Trump addressed the matter that has been on many people's minds for a while now. After all, rarely do you see the vice president being whisked away before the president himself during an emergency situation.

Trump shared: "It was a little bit me. I wished to see what was happening, and I was not making it that easy for them. I wanted to see what was going on, and by that time, we began to realize that perhaps it was a bad problem, a different kind of problem, and a bad one," he continued.
He stressed how he wished to see more and kept telling them to wait a minute because he wished to witness it, leaving them with no option but to act with patience in this crucial moment. "The agents kept telling me and Melania to go down and that's why I went down"- he revealed.
