Distraught Erika Kirk sobs 'I want to go home' as she is rushed to safety following White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting

Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk was seen sobbing on Saturday after leaving the White House Correspondents Dinner venue immediately after a gunman's thwarted attack.

The gunman was identified as a 31-year-old teacher from California, and many claim that the whole incident of her late husband getting assassinated last year started to replay in her head, leaving her distraught and traumatized beyond belief.

A brief video shared online showed how she was very upset and wished to just go home while getting escorted by security while walking past others. Police claim gunshots were fired, and Erika Kirk was present in the room at the time. She was rushed away in tears, sobbing and appearing very startled.

US Secret Service agents hustled Trump and the First Lady, as well as other senior officials of the Trump administration, from the Hilton Hotel's ballroom where this event was being held.
