In a shocking, lengthy statement that was shared, Erika Kirk and JD Vance's friendship stems from the vice president's close links to her former husband, Charlie Kirk.
Vance mentioned at the time how he formed a very close bond with Charline when he showed up for Tucker Carlson's Fox Show in the year 2017.
"Afterwards, a name I barely knew sent me this DM on Twitter and told me I did a great job. It was Charlie Kirk, and that moment of kindness started off as a friendship that lasted until today," the post read.
Their friendship deepened with time, and Charlie supported Vance's decision to run for Senate as a candidate from the Republican side.
He shared how they spoke about everything, the strategy as well as the fundraising, to the grassroots of the movement he knew so well. Therefore, his death might have taken place months ago, but his bond with Erika is one that many feel will never fade. It's beyond friendship, more like family because of Charlie.
