Woman Who ‘Always Wanted Kids’ Discovers She Was Born Without Vaginal Canal, Uterus

One young woman's story is leaving people devastated as they are stunned at the heartbreak that she's forced to endure at such a young age.

Macey Hamilton was a freshman in high school when she started to notice that her back pain was getting really bad. She felt it might have to do with a sports injury, but her parents urged her to go to the doctor for a checkup.

She underwent a series of tests at the hospital, which brought to light an alarming condition.

Her left kidney was absent. "He was like, did you know that you didn't have a kidney?"- she mentioned in shock while sharing her story.

He wished to further investigate and ordered more imaging and tests, and the whole process of diagnosing her condition lasted for a year.

During her sophomore year, she was officially diagnosed with Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser Syndrome. Not only was her kidney missing, but she didn't have a uterus or even a vaginal canal. This meant her hopes and dreams of delivering her own baby or becoming a mother were shattered.
