Multiple people hospitalized after hazmat incident at Disneyland

Shocking reports are speaking about several Disneyland employees being hospitalized after a hazmat situation at the world-famous theme park located in Southern California.

Officers from the Anaheim Police Department responded to an unknown odor near Star Tours Backstage at about 12:30 pm today, authorities shared. So far, at least five were rushed to a nearby hospital, as per the Anaheim Fire Department.

Crews arrived after a group of workers started to experience some minor symptoms, including pain, shortness of breath, and dizziness.

Building materials being used by a contractor backstage produced a reaction, one of the reps at Disneyland shared with media outlets.

So far, no guests have been impacted. Due to the nature of the emergency situation, all guests located nearby were cleared from the surrounding onstage areas.

The famous Star Tours is a 3D motion simulator attraction at the theme park that enables guests to go on different ultra-realistic Star Wars adventures. It first opened in May of 2013.
