The funeral service for civil rights leader Jesse Jackson is drawing plenty of prominent political figures in Chicago, including several current and former US leaders.
Among those attending were former presidents Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden, as well as former Vice President Kamala Harris.

Clinton was accompanied by his wife, Hillary, and Biden attended with Jill Biden, while Obama arrived alone because Michelle Obama did not attend.
The memorial service took place yesterday in Chicago and honored Jackson's long career as a civil rights activist and political leader.
Thousands gathered to celebrate his legacy and contributions to equality, voting rights, and social justice. Speakers could then be seen praising his influence on American politics and his dedication to assisting those who are a part of marginalized communities.

During this ceremony, leaders reflected on Jackson's decades of activism and the impact that he had on their own careers and the bigger civil rights movement. Many couldn't help but wonder why Michelle Obama was nowhere to be seen, leaving her husband Barack Obama alone again.
