Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could return to the US sooner than expected, just weeks after moving back to the U.K. with their two children.
A friend of Prince Harry reportedly claimed that the couple could move their family back to the US as soon as the October half-term break if Harry does not receive the level of security he wants. The claim comes as the Sussexes await the outcome of a security review following their return to Britain.
Harry has long raised concerns about security for himself, Meghan and their children. He has previously said he could not see a future in which he would bring his wife and children back to the U.K. without adequate protection.
The latest uncertainty comes after Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, were moved to a different school just two days after starting. A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan said the decision followed discussions with their security team about the practicalities of their arrangements.
The family had returned to Britain after spending about six years living in the US, with their children beginning school there this fall. Harry has since made several public appearances and said it was good to be back.
