During a recent speech, former US President Donald Trump shared a stark warning linked to what might happen if NATO opts to side with Greenland and go against the US.
Trump shared how he was not afraid to do what he needed to do in terms of taking over the country, adding how steps are being finalized for annexing the large island nation.

Trump was asked how he feels about Germany, France, and the UK sending troops to defend Greenland after US threats of using military action to invade the country.
To that, the president fiercely replied that he was not concerned about the NATO alliance weakening, reminding them how they need the USA more than it needs them.

He argued that the US contribution to NATO was central in terms of deterring aggression and combating threats.
Without American leadership, Europe would be alone facing global rivals. He also slammed EU allies for not spending enough of their own defense, stating that the unequal balance on America has been so unfair and needs to be amended.
