Donald Trump has doubled down on threats to acquire Greenland in a shocking new post. This is where he shared that America is going to do something whether they like it or not.
Speaking during a recent meeting with oil and gas executives at the White House, he mentioned that the reason he wants the lands is important.
"If we don't take it or do something about it, then either China or Russia will, and we cannot have them as our neighbors,"- Trump added.
"We will either do it in a nice way or the more difficult way," he continued. His latest comments arise amid escalating tensions between the US and its NATO allies, including the likes of Denmark.
Despite all of these admonishments from the Danish PM, Trump says the US refuses to back down. Meanwhile, Denmark and other EU leaders continue to warn that attacking Greenland would mean the end of NATO, and they don't want that to happen.
