Jimmy Kimmel really left the audience stunned after taking home the award for the Best Talk Show of 2026.
When beginning his acceptance speech at the 31st annual ceremony in Santa Monica, Kimmel was seen pulling out a giant piece of paper, which some referred to as ridiculously long.
He then chose to name a list of critics by name and also said thank you to them. While expressing his gratitude for his producers and a number of people at ABC, he acknowledged the fellow nominees, where he mentioned that they did not care enough to attend the show.
Kimmel then went on to reference the great many challenges his show faced during the start of the year when Kimmel went live.
'Thank you to all the writers and actors and producers and union members, most of those who are located in this room,'- he added.
He also reminded that citizens don't need to take free speech for granted in this country, and then came the startling closing that was clearly dedicated to Donald Trump.
Kimmel said that he would like to thank the President, who has constantly criticized his show. 'I wanna thank the president without whom we would be going empty-handed tonight!' 'Thank you for all the ridiculous things you say and do each day!'
