NYC Mayor Mamdani calls Trump to register his opposition to Maduro capture: 'I made it clear'

It's been just three days into his job, but that's not stopping newly elected New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani from speaking his mind and going against Donald Trump

Shocking reports spoke about how the new mayor voiced his criticism to Trump directly via a phone call and condemned the attack on Venezuela that comprised of raids to kidnap the country's president, Maduro.

"I registered the opposition and let him know that it would have consequences, and those could impact New York City directly," he continued.

Trump has chosen to remain silent on this matter, but did congratulate the US troops for carrying out a precise and successful operation with successful results.

Mamdani stated how he opposed the violation of federal and international law and added how there were plenty of other ways to handle the situation.

Trump now sets his eyes on Mexico, Cuba, and Greenland, issuing warnings about national security threats and what he must do to keep the region safe.
