Beloved actress Judi Dench is opening up about her harrowing eye condition.
The English star, who is gearing up to turn 91, is detailing more about her life with her advancing macular degeneration.
Appearing for an interview recently with ITV, the celeb, alongside longtime pal Ian McKellen, shared how she cannot recognize anyone anymore as she cannot see. The GoldenEye celeb was diagnosed with the alarming health condition in 2021, but says it’s progressed so much worse right now.
When asked why nobody can see her on television anymore, she detailed more about how she hasn’t made any appearances for this reason, leaving her fans devastated and praying for her health. ‘People can still see me, but all that I can see is their outline’- she continued. But the fact that she cannot recognize anymore has left her heartbroken.
The star did joke about how she does approach total strangers and does mention how it’s lovely to see them again, causing her and the host to laugh.
