White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has decided to step down from her position at the end of the month, President Trump has confirmed.

Leavitt, whom President Trump called one of his most trusted aides, will now be departing from her role to spend time with her young children and family. Moreover, this is a decision that Trump has confirmed and said that he respects and totally understands.

The president recently shared a post where he spoke about how this is being done so she can spend more time with her family and children. "Karoline will now be one of my top outside advisors and an influential voice within the Republican Party," he shared.
