Woman Fighting for Her Life After Being Struck by Car Driven by Brothers, Ages 7 and 4, Family Says

The family of a woman who was hit by a car that was driven by two kids is now breaking their silence on the terrifying incident in California.

The victim was identified as Kiara Bowling, who was hit by a speeding Toyota Sedan. Shockingly, it was two minors behind the wheel, aged four and seven. Bowling was believed to be walking a friend's dog on the sidewalk on 35th Avenue in Oakland on Thursday when this took place.

Bowling's loved ones explained to the press how she is fighting for her life, having suffered a serious brain bleed and facial fractures in that incident. She's currently being treated at Highland Hospital and would need several surgeries.

"I just found out she has blood on her brain," Bowling's cousin shared. She's now forced to get two surgeries as investigations continue to determine how exactly two young brothers were allowed to drive.
