Fuming Mamdani blocked from speaking at fallen NYC soldier’s funeral despite writing speech: ‘He was never called’

It would not be wrong to say that New York City's mayor, Mamdani, was not happy about the way he was treated at a fallen NYC soldier's funeral.

And that's because he was blocked from speaking at the funeral event, despite the fact that he prepared a speech for his on-stage arrival. Sadly, that never came true as he was blocked from speaking.

As per reports from local media outlets, he was all prepared to speak at the funeral of Army Sgt. Angel Sarah Rampersad on Friday in Queens, as she was among the three soldiers killed by an Iranian strike last month in Jordan.

Mamdani did attend the funeral but apparently grew so frustrated with his staff members when he did not hear his name called to speak. "He even looked at his staff with anger and frustration and then just angrily put his tablet away," a source confirmed who was present at the ceremony.

Another source did share more about how Rampersad's family is very conservative and supports President Trump, and that was the reason they did not want Mamdani speaking during the service.
