A Utah bride has been accused of setting a fire inside an LDS church the day before her wedding using lighters that she allegedly stole from a store.
Kaysville Police Officers were called to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 198 West Center Street in Kaysville around 10 pm local time.
After arriving at the church, officers spoke with loved ones who had been inside when the fire took place. They spoke to police about how they'd been busy setting up for a wedding along with the bride and groom.
They also shared how they were about to leave the church when the fire alarm went off. The group searched the building and found a fire inside the church's Relief Society Room. They used this water and a fire extinguisher to put out that massive blaze. Investigators determined that the fire appeared to have begun under a chair, using items that were out of the ordinary, including what appeared to be a tampon.
