Mom dies in horrific accident trying to roast marshmallows for kids — who watched tragedy unfold

Charlotte Rose-Ann Hill has tragically passed away after sustaining serious burns while setting up a backyard barbecue grill to roast marshmallows for her kids.

The horrifying incident arose during a school holiday break while Hill was busy preparing the grill. She suddenly caught fire and was engulfed in flames, right in front of her two young kids.

Her 11-year-old son heroically used his own jacket to try to smother the flames that covered his mother.

Her 7-year-old daughter screamed loudly for help to alert her dad, who was inside the house getting ready for work. The father soon rushed outside, administered immediate first aid, and was transported to the hospital. This is where she suffered the most critical injuries and passed away soon after that.
