The Glee alum made the exclusive announcement during a live recording of her The LadyGang podcast. The baby was born 5.5 weeks early on July 19. She was first due in late August.
The surrogate, Katie, was induced early after being diagnosed with preeclampsia. Born at 7:24 am, weighing 5lbs, 9oz, Meyer is currently in the NICU with a feeding tube but is doing well. She's expected to stay there for two to six weeks.
