Taylor Farms was seen rolling out a voluntary product recall of all iceberg lettuce that was sourced from central Mexico.
The news comes due to a potential contamination with Cyclospora, which is a microscopic parasite causing serious and prolonged GIT illness.
The recall encompasses 25 specific shredded lettuce and salad mix products distributed under eight different brand codes. Chopped iceberg, shredded iceberg, salad mixes, and iceberg romaine blends were believed to be included.
Other private labels involved included Walmet, Marketside iceberg salad, and shredded lettuce products. But no Taylor Farms branded salads or kits were sold directly to consumers, and were said to be linked to the outbreak as they don't feature iceberg lettuce.
Implicated items were believed to have been distributed between June 29 and July 16, carrying the Best if used by dates ranging from July 16 to August 3, 2026.
